Awards/Grants
President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service
Award to Amargeet Singh, 16, when he arrived at the airport in New
Haven, Connecticut, on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. Singh, a junior
at Crosby High School in Waterbury, Connecticut, is a volunteer with the
Youth Health Service Corps, a program of the Connecticut Area Health
Education Center (AHEC) Program.
