P.E.A.C.H. PROGRAM-Middle School

Providing Early Acquaintance

 with Careers in Health

Seventh grade students from North End Middle School in Waterbury are participating in the P.E.A.C.H. program. They are learning about careers in health care through integrated classroom curriculum, professional speaker presentations and visits to Waterbury Hospital and Naugatuck Valley Community College. Students participate in health related activities such as CPR training, and AHEC's Spring Break Program. The program was initiated  through a grant received from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HRSA).
